Project Life 2015 | Week #1

Hi everyone;

Well, now I started my Project Life 2015 so let's see how it turns out. The intentions are good, but I really have to pull myself together to remember taking photos of what's going on during the week. I have done week 1 and 2, but today i only will show you week no. 1.

The week no. 1 spread

I found the white/yellow journalingcards on Pinterest and decided to use them. The rest are from my stash.

Have a wonderful new week out there - and to those of you who are doing Project Life - remember taking photos *smiling*

Layout | Christmas Layout With Nicoline

Hello,

Just a short post with a Christmas layout to show you.

Nicoline is the loveliest little Christmas girl to us. I love this cute photo of her so I created this page for her album.

I used the Christmas Countdown paperline from Bella Bvld., black cardstock, gold Stickles, gold stars from a local hobbyshop and the black letters are cut out on the BigShot.

Cyprus | SMASH Vol.6

Are you ready for another dose of Cyprus? Anyway here it comes....

On the way up in the Troodos mountains we stopped in a little beautiful village where we went for a little walk. Unfortunately we never found out the name of the village.

We had freshly baked bread, olives, sun-ripened tomatoes, goat cheese, freshly squeezed juice and a good cup of coffee for breakfast  in Palaichori. Afterwards we drove up to the little village Askas.

Askas is a very picturesque little village, there is one single hotel with only 3 rooms.

The streets are narrow and goes up and down the hillside.

We are on our way down to Agros to pay Niki a visit and see her small factory. The roads in the Troodos mountains are with lots of hairpin bends. I'm really not very fond of driving on these kind of roads, but it was worth it. We really had a wonderful roadtrip in the mountains.

This was all for now, I wish you a lovely Sunday.

Happy New Year | 2014 Layout Top 5

Happy New Year everyone and a warm welcome to 2015. New Year means a fresh start to me, I know there will be some big changes in our family concerning job terms, a little new granddaughter probably in March and more, so I'm SUPER excited what the new year will bring.

During 2014 I haven't had the energy to scrapbook as much as I wanted, so my 2014 Layout Top 10 will be converted into a Top 5 and here it is in no particular order.

I've decided to do Project Life in 2015, I love the idea, anyway my intention is to complete the whole year, but let's see how many months it will work for me :-D

See you soon.

Cyprus | SMASH #vol. 4

Hi,

On this cold and rainy (at least here in Denmark) December Sunday I'm joining in with some SMASHpages from the warm Cyprus.

Daytrip to Nicosia

We went on a trip up to Nicosia, a city which is seperated between the Greek-Cypriot and Turkish-Cypriot population.

Firstly we visited Cyprus Handicraft Center. I made a pocket from some scrapbooking leftovers for the brochures you could collect at the center.

Afterwards we went around in some of the old streets in the Greek-Cypriot part of the city and ended up in the modern part of Nicosia. The modern part is just like every other modern European city but one thing -

.... the Checkpoint to the Turkish occupied part of the city. It's really surreal because you need a visa to cross the border and the Checkpoint is right in the middle of a pedestrian zone. When you came over to the Turkish occupied part of Nicosia it felt as if time had stood still for many many years. We saw the old caravanserai Buyuk Han which todays is transformed into a lively center for the sale of handicrafts, The Selimiye-mosque and the bazaar before leaving for the Greek-Cypriotic part of the city.

The bazaar and coffee at Starbucks

After lunch we had coffee at Starbucks before exploring more of Nicosia.

I hope you enjoy all the Christmas preparations during this busy month.

Layout | Nicoline's First Selfies

Hello everyone,

Wow, it's already December again.... I don't really know where the year has gone!! It feels like it is only a couple of months since last Christmas.

Anyway, I'm here with a layout for Nicoline's album.

Nicoline's first selfies

She loves playing around with a camera and sometimes she borrows my old pocket camera. The photos are her very first selfies and I really can't stop smiling when a look at all the funny faces she sometimes makes when there is a camera near her :-)

The word "Selfie" is cut out by hand

This was all for now, I will continue working on my SMASHbook from our wonderful vacation in Majorca.

See you soon with more pages from Cyprus.
